So Im mounting a 1.5-8x32 Minox on my m14(arms18 mount 1913)
No clue what kind of rings to use though I really want to keep it as light as I can but reasonably strong as this is a hunting gun and wouldnt want to pull an unethical shot on bambi due to scope movement. M14 recoil can be hard on scopes so someone proposed nightforce ultralites....theyre $120. Is this a good idea or are there other decent options out there?

They have a recoil lug on the bottom that fits into the slot on the Picatinny rail. They are also aluminum and light weight. I just picked up a set of them from our Gracious Host here and found them to be outstanding. TPS TSR rings are also quite good, priced less, but can be hard to find in stock, at times.

I just switched out some Badger's for Seekins on my .308.
1 Seekins ring weighed 56.21 grams on my digital scale.
