What are the pros and cons on the MK 4 knobs; M1 vs M2 vs M3???

M1=1/4moa

M2=1/2moa

M3=1moa

Adjustment is really the only difference except the M2 Knobs are not as tall

Thx bigant.  Looks like M2 knobs for me.  The tall knobs can get caught on stuff.

the m1 knobs aren't any taller than a set of target turrets and don't get caught near as bad as the picatinny rail additions seen on most carbine hand guards these days. they are easy to grip and dial in than m2 and m3 in the dark, and off course finer poi adjustment. m2 are much lower and sort of an after thought, in the sense the gridding in the reticle is moa and faster than turning in the drop on the dial. biggest complaint is the stop is a small ball bearing impeded in a plastic circular trough that rides on the ridge in the scope body. not the strongest set up.

the height chosen for correct check weld on the ar variant will have more to do with the scope catching on anything than anyother factor.

Oh yeah.  Just sprung for a Leupy MK-4 2.5-8 with M-1 knobs and TMR reticle.

Whoo hoo!

I will soon have a Sightron SII 3-12 AO with target knobs up for sale.
