Leupold VX-R

   I am looking at getting an vx-r  riflescope and I was wondering  if  you can put  an  Alumina  protective  lens cover on the objective lens  and the eyepiece ? I  was told that Leupold discontinue the intensify covers  ,but I was wondering if I found one would they fit on an VX-R?
