Thanks for the final word. Sound like I made a good choice purchasing the vx6.
Is there any word as to how they compare structurally? Its probably a wash. Well, for the price, I think I will be more than happy with the zx6. Im also glad to hear that it is noticably better than the conquest. How close was the margin after sunset. I guess the results shouldny be surprising with the larger objective of the z3. Im trying to quantify the difference. |

I've been very impressed with how favorably my Vx3 performs in comparison to the Conquest, Swaro A, etc. The VX6 is better yet, and with 20MOA per turn of the dial It's going to be lots of fun launching stuff at hogs, 'yotes, etc, and occasionally a deer under the right conditions of course. Please keep us posted on what you think of your VX6 the longer you have it if you don't mind.

What do you think are the noticeable improvements the V-X 6 have over V-X 3?? |

IMO: fast focus euro style focuser, eybox is even better than my VX3 which is very good already, eye relief at higher powers is less critical, FOV seems better, 20MOA per 1 turn of the dial (I like the CDS personally), glass is noticeably better, even though the VX3 will get me past legal shooting light already.

Do you have any updates now that you've owned the scope for a while?< id="_clearly_component__" ="text/">#next_pages_container { width: 5px; hight: 5px; position: absolute; top: -100px; left: -100px; z-index: 2147483647 !important; }
I am torn between these exact same options (Swaro Z3 4-12x50 BT & Leupold VX-6 2-12x44 CDS). My issue is that no retailers in my area carry the VX-6 (including Cabelas and Bass Pro Shops) so I have to order it online. This prevents me from looking through it in a side by side comparison. I'd love your thoughts after several months of use.

To add to what I posted before, It's the most user friendly variable I've ever used, and adjustments are on the money. There's not much to dislike about this VX6 IMO.

I went down to SWFA today and compared the VX-6 2-12x42 to the Swaro Z3 3-10 and the Swaro Z3 4-12x50.
I came home with the Swaro Z3 4-12x50.
To my eyes the Swaro was just crisper and especially at the higher magnifications. |

I borrowed JGRaider's VX-6 2-12x42mm earlier this year and compared it to my Z3 3-10x42mm. Both my oldest son and I agreed that it was virtually a toss up optically between the two until the sun set. The Z3 edged out the VX-6 to our eyes.
