The new Leupold VX-L.

Looks like a mid 90's Tasco. Tasco was the first company to try the eclipse design, looks like their patent is going to make them some money after all. Whats next for Leupold ? plastic lenses?

Tasco had an oval shaped lens on their EXP series but Leupold is the first to cut a notch out of the lens.

The idea to get more objective lens mounted down low can originally be contributed to the Redfield Lo-Pro scopes that had a lense with the top and bottom cut off.
