I purchased a new VX3 4.5x14x40AO back in '94 Yesterday I was comparing it to a few newer VXI's & even a Simmons that came on a Savage 12FV combo- I was shocked! Optically, my eye seems to prefer BOTH lower quality scopes mentioned..
Have things changed THAT much?
Regards,
Matt

I had my Zeiss Conquest and Leupold Vari X III out this weekend. My Conquest blows my old Vari X III away.
