Quick release Leupold rings. Any of you guys used any and if so are they strong enough for a magnum rifle (257 WBY) I wont to be able to remove my scope for storage, but is the system is not strong enough i may pass on them. Also ive herd they guarantee to be within 1 MOA after removal and reinstallation. Any info thanks

I have a set on my 300H&H and use them without problems. They do return to 1MOA.
My set is the dual dovetail bases with small side levers which clamps the rings into place. (From Leupold)

I have the QR version, and they are absolutely great.  Hold zero without a problem on my .338 Win Mag.  They also held up on a pretty rigorous hunting trip for brown bear.   I was literally bruised from head to toe, from sledding over refrozen ice.  The mounts stayed tight, and held zero.  You can count on them.

A really nice added benefit is that you can fit several scopes with rings, carry them separately and safely, then remount them on your rifle and still be on target.  More people should use them!

I use the leupold QRW rings on my muzzleloader for ease of cleaning. over the corse of a 5 day hunt i take the scope off every night to unload and clean the gun do to the fact of all the moisture hunting in the snow. they always have gone back to zero.

Thats a QRW & that is a very rare thing to see, Leupold will warranty that call them, I use those on everything that has a pic rail, EBR, LRB M25 they are great, although too heavy is my GRIPE & not for a hunting rifle to carry IMO.

The QR's are a much lighter hunting type setup, my boys have them on MKV 300wby's & I have a set on my Win 70 classic 300wby we never had a single issue - first time use warning, grease the rotating lock & work it alittle at a time till it will engage fully with good hand pressure, I have had to use a pair of pliers to achieve this first time fit - cover the lock with leather or something as to not make a mess with the pliers & don't try all at once or they may shear.

These make cleaning a breeze & multi scope setups nice as well.

Happy Hunting
