I have owned both.
Personally, I would take the Meoptas (Cabelas Euro) any day of the week. Bigger sweet spot. Better DOF. Better resolution (to my eyes). Both are heavy, durable instruments from great companies.
I should tell you to try them both side by side ... but, I have to say I just think the Meoptas are superior ... period.

I also looked at the Golden Rings, Razors and Meoptas. I settled on the Meoptas because they felt and looked best to me. While I would never expect these upper/mid classed binos to compare to the likes of Zeiss, Swaro or Leica they do come close at half the price.

I have tried both the Cabelas Euro and the Golden Ring side by side and bought the Euro. Granted it was not the Leupold HD which I have not looked through.

Throw my vote in for the Euro over the Leupold GR. I preferred its specific combination of optical characteristics along with its handling over the GR.

I cant comment on the HD version. I think the Golden Rings are nice but they are not in the same class as the BIG 3. I have not looked through the Cabelas Euro's but I have looked through the Meopta's which I believe are the same and I thought they were darn nice glass and better then the standard Golden RIngs

Great binos but no comparison to the Euro binos. Good luck.
