Wondering if anyone has had this problem.
Bought a set of Leupold 2 pc. bases for a Mark X. The rear one is a little too long, can't lift bolt. This the #50026 STD. FN Mauser, which is what the listing shows.
Emailed customer support, they replied to turn the rear base forward. I did that, don't like it! Sent a new email, stating this, also told them that there must be a problem with the design, as this is mentioned in the instructions. Never got a reply!
Must mention this, I had turned the front ring in, before I noticed this. Dealer will not take them back. I had wanted the 1 pc. base, dealer was out.
Sent a letter to Tom Fruechtel, President of Leupold. Haven't had a reply.
I could do very little grinding, re-blue, it would work. Don't think I should have to do this.
Guess I'll get a Burris or Redfield 1 pc. Base.
