Just wondering if a 42mm Leupold Alumina lens cap would work on a Burris 4.5-14x42 Fullfield II scope? And if so, what should the size be for the eye piece?

Also, I have the adjustable eye piece so will the cap get in the way (i.e. turn with the eye piece)? I've heard the Butler Creek caps will so I'm looking for an alternate. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

If the lens caps turn into a problem, an alternate to look at is the ScopeShield. Google scopeshield alaska.

Thanks for the reply Terry. I looked at those and yes, those would solve the lens cap issue. But, I'd want something while I'm in the field and wouldn't have to fuss with a cover. Even though I'll most likely get one of these to solve my problem and/or for storage, I'm still looking for something else.

Now that I'm thinking about it though any kind of lens cap would rotate (at least that what I assume). If anyone knows one that would not, that would be great. Thanks
