Nope... Seeing is believing.  What is Leica going to do that is not already being done?

Now Kahles or Kaps would be another matter...

If we're willing to give Vic a second chance, why not Leica.

Where will they be made, by Leica, Canada?  Or are they made by the "Joint Venture", Guanghi Optical Instruments (CE Mark) in China?  If so, why were they so expensive?

The local rep for Guanghi Optical Instruments claims that "their" product is sold on the west coast of the USA as Leica branded product by: West Coast Camera, Blaine WA, 360-543-0057.  I wonder if this is true?

They will be made in Germany by Leica.

I'm glad they are returning to making rifle scopes for the simple reason that competition is good.  With more quality manufacturers making rifle scopes, it forces each manufacturer to continually improve their products and advance the state of the art.

Having said that, unless I happen upon an exceptional deal on one, I highly doubt I will ever buy one of these scopes.

Hmmmm, I think I would like a Poster of one to put in my man cave where I work and I reload, etc.  I can perhaps afford that if its within reason...

I agree with Ted though, Competition is a good thing, even in my business as long as the my competitor does not move in next door like this one dick head did a fewyears ago. Its ure saved him on advertising.....

Oldtrader, you might be thinking of the connection between Leica-Camera and Panasonic. The scopes will be made by Leica in Germany.

Roy, I am aware of the Leica lens in Panasonic camers.  I have the feeling that "West Coast Camera" is some local outfit (probably Hong Kong connected) trying to run a local rip-off on Chinese Leica copies.  It is just a back room, sales office with no Customer Service.
