The first 8 x 56 binocular with an integrated laser rangefinder

With the new LEICA GEOVID 8 x 56 BRF, Leica is expanding the line of Geovid models, offering the demanding hunter an unmatched binocular that has been optimized for hunting from a stand at twilight and at nighttime. It was designed in close consultation with experienced European hunters, and it was tailored to their wishes. Highest optical performance, coupled with accurate laser rangefinding, combined in an extraordinarily compact binocular handy, light, precise.

Leica is the first optics specialist to succeed in combining uncompromising high-performance optics and a laser rangefinder in a particularly compact binocular. That makes the efficiency of the new Geovid 8 x 56 BRF stand out far above that of a classic binocular.

The LEICA GEOVID 8x56 BRF is the second binocular model of Leica Camera AG, Solms with integrated laser

rangefinder to combine the functions of two precision optics instruments high-performance binoculars and rangefinder in one compact pair of binoculars. It was designed in close consultation with experienced European

hunters, and it was tailored to their wishes. Highest optical performance, coupled with accurate laser rangefinding,

combined in an extraordinarily compact binocular. The large lens diameter of 56 mm makes the new LEICA

GEOVID 8x56 BRF ideal for difficult hunting situations such as at dusk or when watching out for wild boars from raised hides at night. The design and controls of the LEICA GEOVID 8x56 BRF are geared to the needs of the active

hunter and frequent use in extreme viewing conditions. The easy-grip rubber plus the ergonomic shape of the

binoculars ensures non-slip handling even in damp weather or when wearing gloves. The binoculars are excellently

balanced and can therefore be held comfortably for long periods.
