Just wondering if anyone had experience with Leatherwood Camputer M-1000 ART & M-1200 Scope by Leatherwood.  From what I gather, that the U.S. Military used them in Vietnam.  I am curious if that Cam is accurate for faster target acquisition from what Leatherwood claims.  Thanks in advance.

The M1000 and M1200 are NOT VietNam era scopes.  They are based upon the design of the Leatherwood ART that was used in VietNam.  The cam is very accurate and will allow one to get "on target" very rapidly. I've used the ART-style Leatherwood scope for quite some time, have number 049 of the Sporter ART, and M1000, and one of the older VietNam style scopes.  I also have a CMR, but it is not a cam-style scope.
Great stuff.  I really like them all.
