i have been using leatherman tools for years and years, i had an original when i was in high school and recently i broke my third leatherman core. it used to be that you could just take the tools back to where you bought them and they would give you a new one. well i broke my tool last week, i sent it to portland on saturday with the sheet of paper you send telling them whats broke ( they dont let you get replacements at the dealerships anymore) today in the mail i received a brand new supertool 300. they hauled ass getting me a new tool, i felt naked at work without it. so thanks leatherman for standing behind your products. i will continue to purchase and use your multi-tools.Excellent

 GOOD to know!

My daughter gave me a Gerber yrs back.  Never really thought about getting a multi tool.  Now I know what you mean about "feeling naked" without it.

Preston broke his in Iraq and Leatheman quite graciously replaced it.  Naturally Dad had to write the letter and ship it or it would have laid on the kitchen counter another month but looking out for our young soldiers is just part of the job.
