Storm2844,

I was close!  After doing a lot of research and help from the folks here at SWFA I was convenient that the rangefinding optics are not quite perfected with only a 3 year warranty on the optics component and considering a lot nicer scopes for the same price I opted to buy a Kahles KX and get a separate rangefinder later.  The obvious advantage with the separate rangefinder is you could take it without the scope for other ventures such as bow hunting, turkey or just playing around!

I guess I was just not convinced it was two quality units in one,,,,,,,,
