Last month Chris started a thread about the petition to ban prariedog hunting in Colorado.  A person I know was to attend a meeting on May 1st. in Grand Junction and appear before the wildlife commission & present the case.  He got back with me yesterday & told me that the commissioners voted unanimously to disregard the petition. This means that the status is the same as it was. There is still a season on public land and no restrictions on private land. However, this will be far from over. The Bunny Huggers vowed to take it to the courts... then to a citizens petition on the ballot if that failed.  We all just need to keep fighting the good fight. Excellent    Thank's to all on here who participated in the effort to fight this B.S.

YEA .... there's some groups who want to ban hunting altogether ... and any sales or ownership of firearms . We can't sit back any longer without jumping in and fighting . Every vote and meeting and email counts .

Yea, and this happens to be one of those groups( Forest Gaurdians ), they will stop at nothing to end all hunting, one critter at a time.

Leave them be. After the hunting stops then the plague will wipe most everyone out and Then the same people will want to poison them all. the circle will be unbroken.
