Just picked up a Kowa TSN-662 sptting scope w/25x LER eyepiece. Would it be worthwhile to purchase the 20-60 zoom eyepiece? New to spotting scopes so I am not sure what the max usable magnification would be with this scope. The 25 seems to be adequate for closer ranges but could see where more magnification could be useful sometimes. Problem is the price is almost as much as I paid for the scope and eyepiece together. LOL Also is it preferable to leave the eyepiece installed or not, or does it matter? Thanks for any help.

With a 66mm objective I think your image may be a little dark at 60x. You may be better served with a 15-45x eyepiece if your looking for a variable IMO.
I'm not an expert or a currentpert, but I am a prepert.

Lol, prepert is where most of us are I think. From what I've read you are probably right but I haven't seen a 15-45 for this one. Of course being a prepert myself that doesn't mean there isn't one.

Thanks for the infoThunbs Up
