The Kowa BD 42 (10x42) has a coating on the prisms that is 99% effective and supposed to be much better than the aluminum or even silver coatings. Does anyone have any experience with them?
How do they compare with the pentax DCF SP 10x43? |

No personal experience but what I read is pretty interesting.
Kowa's are top-of-the-line Japanese optics. Kowa 10x42 BD42-10GR (Green Body) Binoculars They have Schmidt-Pechan prisms w/a highly reflective multi-coating of dielectrics (C3 coating). Fully Milti-Coated Optics (FMC) Phase Correction Coating 99% reflectance or higher across the visible spectrum (400-700nm). Nitrogen filled Waterproof/Fogproof Clear images all the way to the edge approx $520 The Green Body looks somewhat? like Swarovski |

No experience with them. However, their newest line of high end bins just debuted and I eagerly await the opportunity to take a look through a pair.
