We've been doing a lot of testing of our new piston ARs and I've been working with the new Rem .30RAR cartridge in the AR platform. As most of you probably know the AR platform is fairly hard on scopes due to the bolt slam (especially the 30RAR) and I have probably broken more scopes on an AR than I ever have on a heavy kicking bolt gun. Since we were doing all this testing and burning up all this ammo I figured I'd test a scope I had no experience with, so we have really put a Konus Pro + 3-10x44 illum to the test. At this point this scope has been subjected to more rounds than most scopes will get in their lifetime and so far there have been no issues and it has held zero. Plan to continue using it and will report if it ever fails.

Looks like it may be a real "sleeper" of a scope value, it's PRC made, but sure seems to be a lot of quality for the money since it sells for $139.95 (SWFA price) !!! It's $10. less than a Simmons AETEC (which won't hold up on a AR BTY) and a LOT more scope.

Would like to hear what experience others are having? As we all know anyone can make "some" good scopes, just wonder if they are all this good????? Also wonder what their customer service is like should one have a problem?

I have no dog in this fight, just passing along my observations.................

Long term test update

After THOUSANDS of rounds on ARs in 5.56 and 6.8 the Konus has held zero and given no issues at all, if they are all like this one it's one heck of a scope for the money.
