KAHLES launches Helia KX Austrian riflescopes designed for the American market

• 1” riflescope line Helia KX with second focal plane reticles
• Austrian standards in optical performance and mechanical precision
• Lightweight and rugged construction
• Competitive and attractive price points
• Helia KX 3-9x42, KX 3,5-10x50 and KX4-12x50

KAHLES announces a new value in riflescopes. The Austrian based company has announced the KX series of high quality Austrian riflescopes designed for the American market.

Since 1898 KAHLES has continuously been setting milestones in optical performance. KAHLES pioneered the design of riflescopes, repeatedly setting new standards for functionality, durability and overall performance and longevity.

Now, more than a century later, KAHLES products are closer to the limits of physics than ever before, however, the company remains firmly committed to its established and proven principles. While the highly innovative and revolutionary CL and CS series of KAHLES riflescopes remain in a class of their own, KAHLES is now introducing its new KX series of scopes, designed and engineered with focus on the American Sportsman.

The new KX Riflescopes are lightweight and convince for its rugged, shock-, water-, and dustproof construction over decades.
The KAHLES AMV lens coating provides for outstanding light transmission. The unsurpassed edge-to-edge clarity combined with the generous dimensioned ocular gives the shooter an extremely wide field of view and superior low light performance.

Hermann Kloetzer, Senior Sales Manager for Kahles said, “ We are very excited to bring the KX line to the US Market, These scopes are specially designed for the American Sportsman’s needs and KAHLES is proud to introduce the new KX line of riflescopes at highly competitive and attractive price points to the optics trade and the retail consumer.”

Can't wait to look throgh these new Khales KX scopes. If they are brighter in low light than the Zeiss Conquest   I might get the 4-12X50 and mount it on my Tikka T3 Lite Stainless.

Very exciting line, but nothing that really interests me...unless the 3-9x42mm is as nice or nicer than the Zeiss Conquest at or near the same price.

If this scope line is being marketed toward the American hunter, why do the majority of the models have 50mm objective lenses?

I'd be interested to see statistics.  Although I don't know the exact numbers, my instincts would lead me to believe the vast majority of American hunters do not buy scopes with 50mm objectives.

If that 4-12x had a 42mm or even 44mm objective, I'd be waiting in line.....

I think that the advantages of slightly larger objectives is catching on in the US and this will be a very popular series by Kahles. Team one of these babies up with a Savage 14 Euro and your in buisness at a bargain.
