The State of Kahles in the USA

I know some people have concerns about Kahle's United States presence. That is perfectly understandable considering its US distributors have changed several times. However, there commitment to customer service and warranty and repair work has not changed.

I know many of you are big fans of Kahles scopes and for good reason. Kahles's optical quality is second to none. Also, they are built very solid while maintaining a light optical package. Anyway, enough about the quality of their scopes I think most everyone would agree they are phenomenal.

I wanted to share some information I have recently received from the people at Kahles and Swarovski regarding the state of affairs of Kahles Optics in the USA. Swarovski will be handling Kahles warranty support here in the USA and it appears to be a long term deal. This is a good thing for Kahles... From what I found this was firmed up around the middle of July which means it's 'news' to most people.

Don’t just take my word on it this is straight from Kahles and Swarovski. I think some of you will recognize the address.

“We at KAHLES are committed to addressing the challenges of sustainable development and operating as a responsible company. Not only to satisfy the requirements of our customers but to sustainably develop fair and honest customer relations is our goal.”

Dear Kahles Partner,

In order to offer the best KAHLES service please call the customer warranty service for Kahles Phone (866) 606-8779

Repairs can be sent to:                                                                                           Kahles Service Center,                                                                                                    2 Slater Rd, Cranston, RI 02920

For any other request please contact info@kahles.at

It's been discussed many times here recently and the new process posted .

Here's one of the threads (first two posts on page 3).

Same thread (page 1) with a message from Chris Farris at SWFA.

No problem Danny!! Maybe this thread can be changed to a "hot sticky topic" by one of the moderators that way it's one of the threads at the top of the "rifle scopes forum".  Thunbs Up

Met with them all day yesterday, we'll have their scopes on our site soon and at a lower price than previously since we have cut out the middle man.

The 6-24x56 FFP with the new parallax adjustment under the elevation turret is a very nice scope.

Thanks Chris. I really like the quality of the Kahles scopes. I am wanting to add to my small collection. Is there any chance of a rimfire version comming back into the lineup? Maybe they have some in the back room that could be put on the samplelist. Hint Hint!!

This is great news Guys!!! I have 2 Kahles Scopes and would love the one above Chris mentions. I'll bet she is a beauty!! I do not lie to my wife, I simply do not need to, but I have to admit that 6x24x56 FFP just might push me over the edge, LOL!!
I can hear it now!! YOU PAID HOW MUCH for a Kahles Scope???? Yes she knows alot of the brand names, LOL!!
Personally I have never cared about them not having a Distributor here in the US at times. Ive always believed I (I have Faith) would be taken care of by them if I ever happened to need to send a scope back.. I do thank you guys for bringing this up again though. Im gonna start saving again for the Big Kahles I think, Damn! they are Fine ScopesYippee

My B-day is coming up and a new Kahles scope would be real nice gift to myself. Yippee

Any news on them and SWFA?

I noticed they are no longer listed in Riflescopes on SWFA's web page.

I know what you mean on that scope. I just picked up a nice like new used K418 TT off ebay.

That is how I discovered that Kahles scopes are no longer listed on SWFA's web sight.
Went to check the price of a new one vs what the auction price was at.

They changed their mind on the dealer direct deal and are once again seeking a U.S. importer/distributer.
