Hi,

I am looking to pick up one or the other and was wondering if there was anyone out there who had them.  Looking at the CS 3-12x56 or the CL 3-10x50 or 4-12x52.  This will be mounted on either a 270 or 7 Rem Mag.

Any input would be appreciated!  Thanks!

I have no experience with the other two, but I recently purchased a CL 4-12X52 from the SWFA Sample list.  The size of the objective is right about the max I want on a hunting rifle.  I installed it on a Tikka T3 Lite, in 270 WSM.   I wanted the extra power over the 3-9X42 SII Sightron it replaced. The Sightron is a good little scope, and frankly I killed every deer and pronghorn I shot at with it.  But I travel from western WA out to eastern MT each fall, and that's very open country with sometimes poor light and very long ranges.

The glass is wonderful.  It is bright and clear and the scope provides excellent field of vision.  I got the plex reticle, I'm very happey with it.
