Robert,
I put a 3-10 x 50 on my Ruger #1 30.06 last year. It is a great scope with excellent glass and did quite well in low light conditions. The instructions were quite clear and easy to follow. Use the search function here to view a post e that explains in great detail how to zero the scope.
I used four of the five settings and each has held it's zero. I went to the range a few weeks ago and the zero has held on each of the settings (no adjustments necessary). The scope was easy to set up and get the various ranges dialed in. In the field it is very easy to adjust between the settings. I have mine set from 100 to 400 yards, but my comfort level for taking a deer is 200 yards. The Ruger and Kahles Multizero setup is great and exceeds my ability as a shooter.
Yesterday, I received a 4-12 x 50 Kahles KX that I purchased off the Sample List. They were very helpful and professional. The info on the Sample List stated light ring marks so I asked the gentleman at SWFA if it would be a problem for him to get the scope and take a good look at it. He got the scope immediately and upon review said Brad I think you will be thoroughly pleased. That kind of response had me sold. By the way, I still can't find the light ring marks and the scope looks brand new. I asked him about the warranty because Kahles' warranty is only for the original owner. He said the orginal warranty card was in the box so I registered the warranty yesterday and I'm good to go. Now to get it mounted on my Tikka 7mm08 and have some fun.
Hope this information is helpful.
