Can anyone verify how heavy the plex reticule is in this model.  More important is it adequate for low light.  Thanks

I have a 2-7X36 CL with plex and I think you'll be alright.  A #4 reticle or heavy Duplex would be better, but I think it will be serviceable.

Kahles is a very good optic , and you would be well served by the CL

I have two Kahles 3-9x42 CL scopes.   I compared them against my Swaro 3-10x42 and then sold it if that helpsWink.   I would say it is probably the brightest 1" scope you'll find.  As for reticle, i'd say it's very similar to the Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40, not to fine nor to heavy.

I have looked through the Kahles CL 2-7x36 and I remember it having a rather standard plex probably like a Swarovski or Leupold but maybe just a hair thicker. I dont remember it being anything close to a Zeiss Z plex though. It isnt a wide plex either. The reticles are etched though so they stay blacker and more defined.

Thanks for all the input.  I wanted the 4A but the place that has them on sale only has the Plex.
