I am looking to buy a scope for 30:06 Tika T3 and want a Kahles. It will be a 3 x 9 x 42 and can't decide between a KX or CL.  Is the CL that much better than a KX.  I have looked at the Sample List but undecided about the Multi-Zero.

Multizero is awesome, read one of the other posts that is up right now.  The CL will have slightly better resolution, which you may or may not be able to see.  Kahles is an excellent choice you will not be disappointed with either, I have a T3 with a Kahles C 3-12X56 on it and in 300 WIN MAG and it is a deadly combination.  Also have a 4-12X52 CL with MZ on a 7 mag, both are excellent quality, the MZ is nice to have if you can afford it and have a use for it go for it.  If you don't really need it then go with the KX and you will still be very happy with the scope.  If you plan on shooting over 300 yards very often you might like to have the MZ, it really is a nice feature, makes long range shooting a lot easier.  Welcome to the OT!  Good luck.

I'm just curous, but how does the Kahles CL compare with the C?

The C is slightly brighter due to the larger objective, but it's hard to tell.  It does have better resolution but it is very close, both scopes are very close.  Both are ridiculously good.  You cannot go wrong with either.  I like the C better because it has a front focal plane reticle, I was skeptical at first having a FFP on a hunting rifle but I love it now.  If you can afford the C go for it, I believe it to be slightly better than the CL, truly one of the best scopes money can buy.
