I finally did it. Spent $385 and expect to receive with in 3-5 business days the following items.

1- SWFA 16X42 MRAD ScopeBig Grin
1- Set Weaver 30mm low profile six hole Tactical rings
1- 42mm set of Bulter Creeek Caps
1- 42mm Sun Shade

I feel like an 8 year old a week from ChristmasYippee.

Can't wait to mount it on my Savage 10pc in .308win and take it to the rangeCool.
Shoot more and more often.

Good deal. I've never looked through the 16x, but love all my other SS scopes.
If at first you don't secede...try..try again.

You have one accurate repeatable precise combination, keeping the shooter out of the equation of course, That is my issue at least, J/K.

Have fun with her.

Mildot master is the only other thing I can think of but Christmas isn't for another few months anywho...

Update the first try to order was a problem with my Visa gift/debit card being accepted since I was trying to keep the purchase on the down low.

Then I got lucky with Ebay and Paypal accepting the card so the purchase was back on. But that when my excitment got the best of me. I was so excited that in my hurry to select the scope i selected the 6X instead of the 16X and did not notice until reeviewing the purchase detailes 2 days later.
Once I noticed the mistake i contaacted SWFA to see if i can change the order before it was shipped but was too late. The response was that they would be glad to exchange the scope if i sent it back once I received it.

As you might think i couldn't send it back once I had it oin my hands so now i will be ording a 2nd scope in a few months.

Is that a bad thing??? Heck no no I will have a scope for hunting and one for target shooting. Sometimes mistakes are good.

A Happy SWFA owner finally.
Shoot more and more often.

I too was impressed with my first SWFA scope.   Hopefully the 10x42 will assist me in taking some coyotes this fall/winter.  I'm really excited about trying the 3-9x42 next.
