Anyone have one?  If so, is it as wide as the trigger on the 700 P or Varmint?

Jon,

Jewel triggers are awesome.

If you have a BR rifle, they are outstanding.

BUT.......On a field or tactical rifle, would be better served using another brand like Timney, Rifle Basix, etc.

Or, like me, you could work the Remington trigger you already have.

Mine breaks right at 2 1/4 lbs and is crisp and clean.

Just my thoughts.......

I had a great stock remingtom trigger that had been worked over on my old precision rifle. On my new one i put a Timney and i like it better than the stock rem.

I had an awesome old-style 40X Remington trigger and a fairly close one with the 700 SS (X-Mark Pro of recent vintage). Timney feels better to me though, and is enough to spend.

I have one on my tac rifle, and love it. Never really had a rem. trigger worked over, but the Jewell triggers are amazing. I had a Timney in my weatherby, but it's no Jewell. I haven't had any trouble yet with dust or dirt, but I baby this rifle, and I've heard of others having trouble in dirty conditions.
