I got this at on eBay recently to use on one of my Enfields.
J.C. Higgins 4x fine crosshairs 1" tube.
It is as far as I can find out built by Weaver and sold by Sears. Any one know any thing about them? Are they any good? It came cheap so if it is junk I wont be out much but I do like the looks and the optics seem quite clear. Edited by BobC - July/15/2011 at 13:09 |

Boy, that is one of the real early ones, pre-1956 with the brass rings on the ends. It's not permanent-centered. But those old scopes were good back in the 50s.
Vintage Rifle Scopes in Corvallis, Montana would probably freak out. Send them a photo and they will tell you all about it.
