looking for a single ring to mount on my ar rail for a laser. the laser is non adjustable. it came with a scope mounted adj mount, and a fixed rail mount. when mounted on the side of my rail, it is not centered with the scope reticle. thank you in advance.. http://www.lasergenetics.com/nd3-laser-designator.aspx when using the supplied rail mount, mounted on the side, it is lower left of scope, maybe covering 10% @ the 8 o'clock mark. they do include an adj mount, that mounts to the scope, just a little bulky. I just figured I would ask. |

I have heard of some guys shimming the ring mount that attaches to the rail to "cant" it to the center of the scope. I used the mount that goes straight on the scope tube as its adjustable. There are a number of quick detach picatinny mounts in use on these as well but will cost.

i know, but it does not line up, quick detach or not, w/ scope, I called swfa, they said laser genetics is working on one, I asked in a few forums, no one knows of an adjustable ring, so i am going to butcher, i mean machine and mill the adj scope mount unit for dovetail. Laser genetics told me today, maybe 1st quarter next year they might have one :(
