I have a question for yall.

I stopped by a local gunshop today to kill some time, I was asking the guy about IOR Tactical scopes. He tried to persuade me to there brands, which I wont buy there because they are high on there prices, and everybody here has been good to me about answering my questions.

He told me that the IOR scopes will break if you adjust them to far. Seems like I read here on a post that IOR hunting scopes will do this but the tactical ones will not.

So my question today is will the IOR Tactical line of scopes break if you adjust them to far ?

If it helps I am looking at the 10x42, or the 16x42.

I have 3 and have had 6 of them total and never had one break from adjusting them.  I did have trouble with one of them, but they have all been very good on the adjustments.
Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

all scopes may be broken if you were to wind it to its extreme and still try to "crank" it some more. uso specifically recommends not doing this for this reason as an example of one manufacture, it doesn't matter with leos because you can't tell if they are broken or not.

I am not a shooting newbie, i have been shooting since i was 5(BB gun). But I am very new to scopes. I am a X green berret if that means anything! I just want to play with something new to me. I am not going for anything serious but want to shoot and learn something new, and this mildot SHAT is very new to me.

I want a scope that my bad luck nature wont FAWK up to easily, if a IOR wont do this then I need to rethink my plan.
