Hi everyone,

I'm new on this forum and from French Polynesia, i need some advice about IOR customer service.
I have a NF 3.5-15x56 and i'll plan to purchase an IOR scope 9-36x56 but i'm afraid for the customer service. I red some forum, and  they said the customer service bad.
Does anyone have a bad experience wtih them?
Wait for any reply

Best thing I can tell you, its hit or miss. Some say IOR c.s. is 2 guys in there house and it takes up to 6 months to get warentie work and others tell you its better than sliced bread.
Shipers hide has tons of info, IOR lovers and IOR hatters.  Most agree, get the optic from someone who will be there after the sale, you may have to use them.

Chris with SWFA is noted as one of those guys to will help you,  just do a little research on the company you plan to get the optic through.

Most of their stuff is good to go, their glass is the best at their price range.

They have had some issues with Customer Service, sometimes it is decent, sometimes it is terrible.  I've known people who got replacement scopes in a week or 2, and Ive known people who waited 6 months for a repair; buyer beware.

It is worth the effort because their glass is so good, and their problem scopes seem to be limited to a few models, I know nothing in particular about the 9-36 you want, but do a search and see what people say.

I've owned a few IORs and I am half-n-half: one good experience, one terrible.

3 returns here, never took more than a week both ways, never got the good glass in any of the 4 that is supposed to be there. Currently I think of them as a small leupold company., burn and return.

Just so you know, it is not two guys in there house.  They have a little store in a strip mall in Colorado.  A buddy of mine has stopped there a few times when he was on work trips.

My experience's with them has been good.  It seems that most of the problems are with the 35mm scopes though.  Particularly the 3-18 ffp version.  I love IOR scopes, but as time goes on I am becoming more and more hesitant of recommending the 35mm scopes.

But some people have never had a problem with them.  My problems were with a 3-18 sfp got water looking spots on the inside of the glass and a brand new 3-18x FFP.  The reticle was not centered and was way off to the one side when I zeroed only giving me 1.5 mils of widage.
