Doesn't the Steyr use a special ring setup?

I didn't think IOR made rings for it.

I want to buy a 35 mm tube scope but I was unaware of anyone who made rings for it that would fir the steyr.

I would probably go with a picatinny rail of sorts, if it's available, and then use 35mm rings.

Wouldn't that work?

That way you wouldn't be hancuffed to Steyr's ring set up. Or am I mistaken?

You are going to LOVE that scope!!!!!  I have one mounted atop a Savage 10FP-LE1 in .308.  The glass and reticle are truly amazing.  I can pick out .308 holes in my target at 300yds on 16x and the reticle really allows for precise aimpoints.

I'll buy another IOR 35mm when I can save enough $$.  Highly recommended.

No scope I know of can do that (not even a Zeiss!).  You need a spotter and radio.
