I am looking for any info I can get on an old scope off of one of my dads rifles. The scope has no maker marks other than these: Dr. H. Hensoldt-Optik-Wetzlar
                                                              Kontralyt-4X
                                                              Made In Germany
                                                              30281
Anything you might know about this would be greatly appreciated.

Hensoldt - Zeiss, I'd be keeping it. If it's old it's probably not up to todays standards optics wise. It sounds like it's old so there are few around these days. Try contacting Zeiss they may be able to help.

Have you been able to find any information on your Kontralyt - 4x scope?

I have one on a Winchester rifle that I have owned for about 55 years.  I am trying to find out if I can possiblly locate a users manual to explain the sight adjustment procedure.

Any Info. you can share will be apprciated.

Thanks,
Paducah Duke

This has nothign to do with either Zeiss or Hensoldt.
This is another make.

It's like some spannich guns what is marked London on the buttplate, just a cheap way of rising the interest.

I do not know anything about the quality of those Hans Hensoldt optics, but i belive it's far less that the real stuff.
