Looking to put one of these scopes on my Ruger 77/22 to shoot in a .22 silhouette league.

Hawke Sport HD 3-9x40

Tasco Varmint 2.5-10x42

Both are on the inexpensive side, but would like to be able to take advantage of the mil-dot reticle. Curious to hear if anyone has any experience with either one for this kind of use. I'm kind of leaning towards the Hawke, but I've read that the same company that owns Bushnell now owns Tasco. Not sure if that really means anything though. Thanks.
