Just a heads up. While doing research i dug up some info regarding the DOA reticle for the Bushnell scopes. It was calibrated for velocities between 2900-3100+ FPS. Well Bushnell doesn't give you that info online, and couldn't even tell me for sure when i called this morning. Finally i got their manuals for the scopes and sure enough, putting that scope on my build wouldn't have worked as 99% of .308 ballistics don't come close to 2900 FPS.

If you are interested in DOA please take note. These are the loads that will work with that reticle.

Did you find anything that gave reticle subtension for their other reticles? On their illuminated 2.5-10 4200 scopes, the reticle is so thick it basically covers the entire target on 10x at 100 yards.

This is interesting.  I have an Elite 3200 4-12 w/ DOA reticle and it has worked well for me.  Probably because I have it on a 270 Win.

You could get the DOA reticle and only shoot Superformance 308 Win 150gr SST.   Loco

one thing you all have to remember is no BDC type reticle is going to be a mount and shoot situation.  You have to test the distances to see if they are true for your gun, environment, bullet, temp.... and a list of many more.  Some will be close enough to be on, others, not so much

I was never that impressed with Bushnells CS. It's decent but you have to pull teeth at times to find info. The guy i talked to definitely didn't sound like he wanted to be there. I've talked to very helpful people though there so it's hit or miss. It's a massive company. Rarely do you see amazing CS from companies that have a global market. It's just to big to fill slots with dedicated people.

Again, i definitely think Bushnell is hiding important info here. They made it a pain to find out this info and why would they want people to readily know that the scope itself was made for a certain type of load? 2900-3100+ fps keeps a lot of people out of the ball game.

You basically need to be shooting light calibers or magnum rds for this to work properly.

IMO most gadgets are for advertising purposes, not saying they don't work but it always looks better in print, I've always stayed with the plex or standard cross hair and simply practice for holdover.
