Hi new guy here:)
I'm looking to get a good red dot sight for my STG.  Midway has the 9000L for $275.  Thats right in my price rangeYippee.   I did alot of searching on different forums, and it seems no one has one, and info is scarce.  So i was hopeing an optics forum night have the answers I need.  Is this a good sight, or am i better off looking at a compc3 or something simular(outside chance of the DMS-1)?
Thanks in advance

I have a 9000SC (same model in a shorter tube).

I am happy with mine.

That having been said, the only difference between 9000L and small AImpoints is that 9000L allows for mounting with two rings on bolt guns.

If you do not need that, a normal Aimpoint is probably a better way to go.

If the application you have involves shooting a bit further out, I would suggest you look at a low range variable of some sort.  It is not as fast at low magnification, but it gives you a lot more flexibility).

DMS-1 is a reasonable sight for the money, but I have been hearing a lot of complaints recently about their QC.

For a bit more you can get Hawke Endurance 30 1.25-4.5x24.

I have both and I much prefer the Hawke.
