Illumination on Minox ZA 5i HD 2-10x50
|Post Reply Topic Search Topic Options|
I've settled on the ~$600 Minox ZA 5i HD 2-10x50 for a hog hunting Vepr 7.62x54R.
I am curious if anyone has had any low light experience with the illumination on this, or similar Minoxes. Can the red dot be dimmed low enough that it doesn't wash out the tube or ruin your night vision at night?
If not, then I'd just as soon forego the illumination and go with a #4 instead. Are there any comparable options in this price range (less then ~$800) that do have useful low light illumination?
