If price were no object, which long range scope would you choose?

US Optics SN-3 3.2-17x44mm

(I already own this scope.)

A close second.

A Schmidt and Bender PMII 3-12x50mm

These are the 2 best LR scopes in the world. IMHO

I'd like a Unertl 10x USMC Sniper scope, they haven't released the real thing, right?

The Unertl is available now for the cheap price of 2500 dollars.  However they will not put the USMC on it, nor the FBI logo.  USO sold a copy of the scope for 2500 dollars also but it was not the real Unertl scope, and USO got sued for it!

They have and they are the most rugged, dependable, and user friendly scope I have ever used. I have had a Unertl 10x for a few years and it is by far the best scope I have ever owned. It has been used and abused in some very harsh enviroments. It has never even given me the slightest prooblem. I have never had a shift in zero, (unless it has been removed from the rifle). You can repeatably walk rounds all over the target all day.

Now that I have gotten older, crankier and cheaper. I hate spending as much on a scope as I do on a rifle. I have heard from a few on this web site that the Super Sniper has comparable optical clarity and repeatable trackability to the USO copy of the Unertl. I will check them out when my current project is ready for optics. If they can even come close to my Unertl or even just my Leupolds I will never spend as much money on optics as I do on my rifles again!

Of course if the price is not a problem I choose a custom scope, like US OPTICS, or GERHARDT custom shop, also factory scopes like Zeiss 30MM tube MADE IN GERMANY or SWAROVSKI are top notch.
