Nice scope!  Anything made after WWII can be a Jena scope or Carl Zeiss, but not both. Carl Zeiss sued and won on that issue.

The scope is made by the people now called Docter (If I remember correctly).  It is a very good scope, but not a Zeiss.

The Jena factory was a Zeiss factory that was caught on the east side after the war. They continued to try to capitalize on the Zeiss name until the change to Docter-Optik. Docter is now imported by firearms import company in Trussville, Al. .
Nothing wrong with your scope, it is of decent mid-range quality. Use it, and enjoyBig Smile, or send it to me, so I can properly dispose of.Bucky

Gents

The scope has the emblem printed on it with 'Carl Zeiss Jena' in the emblem.

I get what HuntMaster wrote but that what is on it. If I can work it out I try and put photos up if anybody is interested.

Cheers
