TIKKA T3 Laminated Stainless VS. Remy Sendero SF II. I love the way that Tikka looks, and its weight on the wallet over the Remy. But how does it stand up to the Remy? 7mm Mag- hunting is 90-95% most of what its going to do, bipods and the Zeiss Conquest 3.4X14X50 on top. Elk and mule deer, whitetail too. Who would take what in straight out of the box?

I have SFII in .264 and it's a tack driver, though it is quite heavy.

the Tikka is around 500 cheaper, from what I can find, which means 10-15 boxes of ammo difference Big Smile but I'm seriously thinking the Tikka now, just need to find someone that owns a Tikka, and see what they say. I still love the Sendero, BTW

Does neither count? I've had both and they both have gone bye-bye.

I've had really good experiences with the 1st gen Sendro. I don't know how much is different with the Sendro II in build comparison. The Tikka's I have worked on show me why they are much less expensive. But that doesn't mean they don't shoot well. I vote Sendro due to build quality and out of the box accuracy. The Tikka has too much plastic for my taste. I am replacing a magazine release on one as soon as the parts get here. Plastic = 58.00

I've owned several Tikkas (not that particular one) and will own more.  They are very accurate, very well made, and very tough - especially given their price.

I'd say buy the Tikka.

I know many Tikka owners and none have been unhappy with their rifles.  Anyone here had a "not great" experience with anything TIkka (other than the included rings, which are pure crap)?
