Hello Guys

My Sightron SIII's have served me well but they are no longer cutting it

for the type of work that I have been doing lately. What I need is a good

pair of low light binos . These are the Binos I have been considering, any

and all feedback will be greatly appeciated. They are the Steiner 8x56

nighthunter xp's.

As long as you can stomach the Individual Focus mechanism of the Steiners, they should be fine.

Nighthunter XP seems to have a good reputation.

Another good low light binocular with individual eye focusing is Fujinon FMTR-SX 7x50.  Fujinon is probably  the best 7x50 binocular I've seen yet.

I've heard some very good things about Minox HG, available in a 8.5x52 configuration.

Meopta Meostar is available in a 8x56 configuration.

I am partial to Fujinons, Roy Finn has a thing for Nighhunters.

You really should try to loo through a few pairs to make up your mind.

ILya

For info on the 8x56 Nighthunter check out this thread. I have personally viewed those bino's in low light and at night. They are by far the brightest bino's I have ever looked through.

Thank you very much guys for all the great feedback,

I have decided to go with the Nighthunter XP's. The

Fujinon's look great and are very well priced but I

prefer the 8X56 configuration. I wish I had a place that

carried these type of Binoculars so that I can handle

them for a while but in my area you have either very

high priced models like the Lieca's and a whole lot of

low end models. Thanks ounce again.

I think you'll be happy with them, I've handled them before and to me they're not as big & clubby as you'd think.
