Not too long ago I bought a bushnell 4200 6-24 tactical.  I wanted to use the scope for long range target shooting as I was using a fixed 10x before.  I just wanted to see much closer and be able to see where I was kicking up dirt if not hitting the target.  This scope was great for that until I ran out of internal adjustment for elevation.  At the time I knew that the scope only had 50 MOA of internal adjustment, but I figured that I'd buy it anyway, because I've used nikon buckmasters with great success out to 1000 yards before and they are advertised with only have 50 MOA of internal adjustment in them too.

So now here I am with a scope that I love in nearly every way and is perfect for what I want to do, EXCEPT it doesn't have enough internal MOA.  I know it's a long winded explanation, but I wanted you guys to know where I'm coming from.  I'd like to be able to buy the same scope that has more MOA built into it, and I'd like to know what you all would suggest.

You could always use some MOA base of some sort or another.  Burris Sig rings could also help you here too.  Shim high in the rear, and low in the front.  Or upgrade to a 30mm scope.

What's sad is that I have this on a badger 20 MOA rail and I still don't have enough to make it out to 1000.
I deally I'd like suggestions for very similar scopes, but with more MOA for elevation.

Well there's this.

Or?????  So many options.  A 30mm tube will yield better(usually) adjustment range.  just my .02 cents.

I'm definately warming up to the viper vortex scopes, and it's listed at 65 MOA, but I need to find some more reviews on it before buying one.

Just noticed that the Bushnell 2.5-16x tactical now has 120 MOA of adjustment under the new item # of ET2164.

I think I'm going to have to buy one of these!
