Maybe the end is in site (which end, I cannot yet say.)

I found primers today at Carter's Country in Houston (the north houston location.)  They wouldn't allow anyone to buy more than 300, so I bought my 300 and a friend bought another 300.

Tomorrow, I'll go back and buy 300 more, if any remain.

Don't you go buy them, dammit.

Forget the whole post.  Move along, nothing to see here.

I've noticed that ammo seems to be a little easier to find....not a great improvement, but better than it was.

Carters is also the only place in town (Houston) that has pistol ammo. 5 box maximum but they have it. I bought from the Hwy 59 store and Pasadena.

I found some at a quaint little gunshop in Nebraska. I bought 1000 and had my buddy buy 1000.

Woods and Waters in Tuscaloosa limit you to 4,000.  As they say at a card game.... read'em an weep!!!  LOL

But to be honest, they don't last long and I have a buddy in the stock room.  You would be surprised what a half rack from "Dreamland" will get you!!!

Well boys, its time for a confession. I've been one of them capitalist who has been selling primers online for unbelieveable prices. As a reloader I've always kept a large stash of primers and when this current flood of stupidity took hold a few months back, I cashed in. What are people thinking? Obama's not going to outlaw primers overnight or prohibit the manufacture of powder. I have it on good authority that the world's not going to end today or tomorrow and keep in mind that above all, Obama's a politician. He's aware that the gun issue cost Al Gore the 2000 election and I'll bet he won't make that mistake. Thats not to say that some of his socialist friends in power won't slap gun owners here and there but I don't think its the end of time for firearms owners in america quite yet. Let the responses begin !! Big Grin

No, they are CCIs, I've had good luck with them.

They primers (and ammo and powder) are beginning to re-appear is a good thing.

Now if only I could buy a 6.8 flat-top AR upper, I'd be good to go.  Anyone got one they'd part with?

My dealer got some primers (pistol) and some powder in Friday morning. They were both still there Sunday morning; well, until I got there and walked out with 8lbs of 748 and 4lbs of Unique. Prices weren't much higher than usuall.

I found some Federal GM large rifle magnum primers at a Mom and Pop gunshop in my AO. May not be there now, but if somebody is looking for some, hit me with a PM and I'll get them if their still there.....(with only a "slight" price increase for my trouble.) Wink

He had a full 1000 box of 215M for sale a week ago.....should have just bought that bitch when I was there!
