My wife and I just finished our taxes. We did the IRS online EZ File thing. It took awhile, but now it's done (with confirmation e-mail and everything). We'll get an acceptance or rejection from IRS within 48 hours.

Now, with a little refund, what can I buy? LOL. I just sent an old (1953) Win 94 levergun up to Doug Turnbull for a little work. Guess that refund will come in handy but... I just hate paying taxes to an incompetent, corrupt government. Pass the soap please. Boo Hoo

I can totally relate, B&B!  What kind of work are you having Turnbull do?  Your 94 will undoubtedly look stunning when Mr. Turnbull completes his magic! There is none better in the entire world at the art of metalwork, finishes, and restoration than Turnbull!

Ted, I'm waiting for some price estimates. First of all, just some overall smith stuff (the loading gate needs work and the trigger is apparently lacking a return spring or something...it flops around like a fish out of water). Secondly, some new sights. I'm considering the Burris FastFire II or just a ghost ring / post set-up. Last, but not least, a complete re-stock with a decent (not XXX Exhibition though LOL)  grade wood...if the price is right. I've been conversing with the shop manager and should know something in a week or so. The re-stocking may have to wait. We'll see. Thanks for the inquiry. You sir are a gentleman!

If it's within your budget, you really owe it to yourself to have him do some of his famous color case hardening on the receiver and lever.  You wouldn't be disappointed in the results; I promise you that!
