Hi
I've been looking for a good scope for my Tikka T3 lite 7mm08 and have chosen the Zeiss Conquest 4.5-14x44 with recticle 20 Z-plex, from all the reviews you can't seem to fault this scope. Now the dilemma is do I want the Hunting turrets or the target turrets? I'm most likely going to be open top hunting most of the time but will have the odd bush hunt. From what I've read the target turrets are accurate but have the chance of being knocked, are the hunting turrets easily dialed in for different ranges then back to zero (200 yds)?

Thanks

I had both a 4.5-14x50 and a 6.5-20x50 wth target turrets.  The lower powered one rode in the car for a while and was used for hunting some as well, never had them turn unless I wanted them to.  I did always check to be sure they were on "0" before each shot though.

Target Turrets!! Bigger is better right! Bucky If my turrets every get bumped its only off 1 or 2 clicks. 9 times out of 10

I have that exact rifle, and it's a real shooter.  That is an awfully large scope to put on a smallish, lightweight rifle.  Great scope though.  The Conquest 3.5-10x44 rides on mine, and it's a little large too.
