I just received my second Super Sniper a couple of weeks ago, a 12X.  My first was a 10X, about five years ago.  Both were from the Sample List, so excellent values, and you all know the upside to these scopes, but I was hoping the new 12X might have some improvement in the turrets, specifically a more crisp and audible feedback.  Not the case, they're about the same.  Ho-hum at best.  I've read a jillion comments and articles about these optics, and the turrets are very often the only criticism.  Problem is these articles are always just initial impressions, never any follow-ups.  So my questions is what is generally accepted as the best steps (if any) a user can take to improve them, or at least make them as good as they're going to get?  Once I know I've done what I can reasonably do, it'll quit bothering me> Clown

Spin them, allot! Usually when new, the turrets have grease that is not well spread. When you run the turrets, the grease spreads, click definition improves.

First impressions usually mention clicks, after some usage, feel improves dramatically. But, that said, from th beginning, tracking is spot-on.

Run the turrets for awhile, all the way up, all the way down, click feel improves.

Equality is something you whine about not being given.

Pop the turret caps, clean off the grease on the O rings, replace with Dielectric silicone grease
( spark plug boot grease ).
Slick stuff and gives the feel you want in the turrets.  Great dust/water seal also.
This was the go to fix for the gen 1 SS scopes.
