He needs a good beating. Looked like a broken nose. Next time maybe he should stand in front of the gun.

3' section of rubber hose and 15 min will fix him of that.  He obviously did not think much of her to do that.

I agree, everything going on in that video is just wrong. When I see things like that happen I think about my little girl right away and hope it never happens to her...  that sucks!!!

How many times???

I only went to the local club/range 5 times this year and each and every time I saw stupidity that could have resulted in injury or death.

I went to 2 "training classes" that were hosted by "NRA Certified" IDIOTS thinking to myself the entire time how in the world did these people become CERTIFIED TO CERTIFY people and teach them safety as they were unable to maintain proper safety at all times themselves...

It is absolutely sick to me the people that do things like this.

I am suggesting that an airsoft course should be taught before a pistol and rifle safety / shooting course.  That way no serious injury can occur.

I do not care if you were born with a gun in your hand since you were 4 or 5... Training should be left to someone who at some point in time has been trained properly...  Dads can instruct but unless they have been instructed the chances are they are just passing down safety issues.

That way no serious injury can occur.

Whatever happened to training with a .22lr first?  (I still like the airsoft Idea, saw this in the Carry Conceal Course I had my wife take and thought it was a great idea)...

Again I do not think a beating is proper...

Revoke his right to contaminate the rest of the world with his stupidity and lack of proper judgement and inability to contain the situation and place his child in the position to understand and be properly prepared and properly trained.  She should have been not put in a situation where that was even a possibility.

IDIOT. is not a harsh enough word.  (and for the experienced guy who is reading this that his child or grandchild has done something similar but was instructed properly,  got news for you you did not instruct them properly and should re-evaluate your ability to know proper firearm safety.

It seems to me the excitement was focused on the wrong thing...the video and not the safety of shooting properly...

It is sickening to me when I get a forward of W.T. (sorry skip that and just put ignorant) women or kids smacking or hitting themselves with a large caliber pistol or rifle or shotgun.   I am just wondering where the videos are when the camera is down on the ground recording the ones who have been seriously injured or died do to ignorance and stupidity.

It is things like this that get our Rights Revoked...

How many things in this video are done incorrectly???

Yeah, that is a rhetorical question...

I was forwarded a posted YouTube video before Google bought them that showed a girl shooting a target with a pistol and then going to blow off the "smoke" coming off the barrel and put one right through her nose (I believe it did even ricochet off the frontal lobe of her skull) injuring her but not killing her, that one made me bitter as to the ignorance of the range safety and the fact that we all face our rights being infringed upon by acts of stupidity not just by the shooters but by the people who are supposedly training them and supervising them...

I have a close friend who I respect and trust that witnessed a person loading to the side or across their midline with the barrel pointed to the side and put one in the chest of a person across the range more than 100ft away they survived My friend helped compress the injury until the paramedics arrived 10 minutes later but again just another thing that burns me and makes me bitter inside to not even want to go to public or private membership only ranges.

I've been at a shooting event where a Vietnam Vet did a very similar act from a kneeling position he put the scope right through the brow of his eye and was to proud to stop he emptied his magazine and then covered his blood up with his hat as he exited the range.  Was it pride or stupidity... The lesson I learned from that is you have to know your limitations...H.C.

VIDEOS LIKE THIS JUST FLAT OUT DISGUSTING...

338lupaslap is correct in the usefulness of using the air soft as a training tool. The air soft is great for learning handling and instilling confidence. This is what I trained my wife with for 4 weeks before going to her conceal carry class. I have on video where the Highway patrol instructor made her mad with his snide comments before she shot. He put her on the firing line and she looked at the target for the first shot then put 9 more in a 3' line while staring him in the face beside her. The instructor was blown away with her firearm handling and knowledge about the weapon features and safety. I was proud of her. The P229 full blow back air soft is identical in all functions and feel. Including the weapons break down.

Saw a thread on another forum about what was killing hunting. Well there's is your answer. A newbie that will never want to touch a gun again. A jackass that obviously knows little about guns but probably thinks he's God's gift to the shooting sports and there are probably a couple of old timers that were watching this from their shooting positions off camera that figured when this bunch shows up it's time to give it up. Unfortunately whenever I'm forced to go to the range to zero a rifle or chronograph some loads there are multiples versions of these guys out there strutting around shooting the place up with their ak clones etc. to the point if I was basically limited to shooting at a range I'd be selling out too. With people like this around it's makes it hard to make a decent argument against gun control. They scare the crap out of me and I like guns imagine what someone that's lived their entire life in a city with no exposure to firearms would think when they saw something like this.
