Where I am flying we are trained to keep all parts of the helicopter above objects unless we intend to land on it.  Come on up for a ride!

Yup, Well, at least was. Retired Army helicopter pilot here. I enjoyed pretty much every minute of it, but like being paid just to wake up now, even more...lol. Best of luck and always remember "Takeoffs are at your discretion, while landings...are MANDATORY!" eD

It's really hard for me, as a retired Army pilot, to believe any pilot could do such a thing to a valued crewmwmber!!!

You can't be serious, the way those guys mess with each other all the time. I spent a lot of time in helicopters, and C-130s as well, and all pilots and crew members hump each other every chance they get. Hazing the new guy, and the newby gets revenge and all laugh their butts off. Then when an air assault or airborne soldier gets on board, once they get to know you, you are screwed, because they will mess with you big time. It is a family and when the situation gets stressful the humping intensifies, that's just how it is.
It goes right along with me and Cyborg messing with each other, it's the same thing.
