I took this picture the other day.  The real recorded temp. in Wichita Falls, Texas was 105 and if my truck is accurate it was 109 in Red Oak, Texas.  It was so hot I could not hold down the buttons to get the windows down.  Even my poor radar detector was trying to escape (the suction cups were coming loose).

I got a 107 deg reading on the outside temp indicator in my truck last week, so it doesn't surprise me, since I'm not too far from you.  It's been miserable outside lately!

That's a pleasant day in Phoenix.
"Yesterday marked Phoenix's 31st day this year with high temperatures at 110 degrees or higher. That shatters the old record of 28 days set in 1970, and tied in 2002. The average number of days in a single year with 110 degree + highs is only ten." Quote from City-Data.
