To any Sightron SIII users out there. I'm looking at the SIII
6-24x50mm MD. Any good pro's or bad con's I should know first? Sightron's website states that a sunshade comes with each scope. I don't see anywhere on SWFA where it mentions a sunshade with the scope. Did your's come with one? How long is it? |

I like to measure powder by the cup.
You can tell a lot about a man by the edge he keeps on his pocket knife. ROLLTIDE! |

I really like mine.Great clarity throughout magnification range, side focus is stiff but not too stiff. It tracks great, and I like the fact it has caps over the turrets which have very audible clicks and turn a little easier than I like.
I didn't buy mine from SWFA (out of stock),and mine came with a 3" sunshade and a free set of Butler Creek endcaps.
I compared the Sightron SIII next to my Swarovski PH during the daylight and they were very close. Dusk/Dawn there was a difference, but not that much.
The only complaint I have with Sightron is the lack of reticle choices.
